If someone dies in the hospital and all medical data showed that he shouldn't have died (i. e., there might have been malpractice or he might have been given a wrong injection) is an autopsy permitted? This is an actual case.

Answered by Aaron AbadiNo. And you don't want the dead guy to suffer any further. Bury him, and bury the whole thing, unless the proof is very solid. Beware! Every ambulance chaser is following you and convincing you that we have a great case.... God must approve of all deaths before they happen, even though it was caused by a person. That person is just a messenger. If however, there is overwhelming proof that can easily be brought to court, you can make a lot of money, and get the Doctor in trouble, then you should go for it. You still don't need an autopsy. AA
