In your approval of baci chocolate, did you discount the possibility that the "artificial flavors" could easily contain unkosher ingredients? Isn't that precisely why kashrus certification is a necessity? Even if the manufacturer indicates that the artificial ingredients are presently kosher, he is under no constraint in not using a clearly unkosher ingredient tomorrow.
