BBQ Sauce & Anchovies

Question

Several BBQ sauces such as KC Masterpiece and Jack Daniels have OU on them but also contain anchovies in the ingredients. I found this strange since most people that see an OU BBQ sauce are unlikely to read carefully through the long list of ingredients before putting it on meat. Are these sauces OK for meat despite the fish ingredients or not?
