I assume then that we don't poskin like the teshuvah of the Rashba quoted in the Bet Yosef, Yoreh Deah 134 that if the goy intends to add the non-kosher mixture (for whatever reason) that it is not batel.

Answered by Aaron AbadiThe Rashba's Teshuva is almost a full page in the Beit Yosef. Someone (from the OU) asked me this question before and I have a bookmark in my Tur on that page. I have yet to find the exact reference to your point. The medicinal issue is not any proof to your point. Rather than I study it over and over till I understand what you're saying, why don't you present your case completely with the explanation and why it shows that the Rashba holds differently. My main complaint is that you throw an address and don't review the entire Sugya. Here's the basic answer: The Rashbas words clearly says "Ikro Bekach." If it's Noten Taam LiFgam it's clearly excluded (Rashba, Beit Yosef, Rama, Shach, ....) The Acharonim clearly don't agree even in cases of Ikro Bekach. You can look at the Pitchei Teshuva (Seif Katan # 8) and you'll get your info. The halachah is that it is not called Bitul Issur LeChatchilah unless you intentionally mixed it in order to remove the Issur. Aaron Abadi
