Does this mean that any product that is dairy and produced abroad (even by an american company) maybe using non kosher milk and the product would not be kosher. And if this is true, then what if there is an "acceptable" hashkachah can I assume that they are making sure that the milk used is ok. Also which countries do we assume have laws that ensure the milk is ok. Thanks Mordy

Answered by Aaron AbadiAn "acceptable" hashgacha would, of course, be OK. Countries that are not OK are the uncivilized like Mexico, where for $5 you can pay off any Govt official. A European country would usually be OK, because they are more health concious and food concious, and if a company was selling pig's milk mixed into their cow's milk, the people would be in an uproar and the company would go out of business. In Mexico it probably wouldn't effect them, thus there would be nothing holding them back from using a percentage of pig's milk. AA
