Brooklyn eruv
Question
The new brooklyn eruv is supposed to be made following the chumros of the mechaber. Is it possible that your father would allow it, or is he more machmir even in the shitah of the mechaber. For more info you can check out www.erub.org. Thanks.

Answered by Aaron AbadiThe Mechaber (Rabbi Yoseph Cairo) does not agree with an Eiruv around city streets without actual doors. Show me doors and we'll talk. You still need to help me with the renting space from all the non-Jews etc... The world is busy cursing us out for eating inedible, and/or intangible Treif, yet Chillul Shabbat is in style! ...and I'm crazy?! AA
