Cake plate

Question

I have a knife and cake plate that I use on Shabbat for dessert after a meat meal. The cakes have always been parve. I am now going to be serving a dairy meal and following it up with a dairy cheese cake. Can I use the same cake plate and knife that I have used every week with my meat meal?
