Purpose of site

Question

OK, I understand your point re. the purpose of the site. Yet I know some people who claim to have become talmidim of Rav Abadi because they follow the site and even attempt to follow his chumrot (re. cheese, eruv, etc.) Can someone claim to be a talmid simply from a website, especially when the impetus for this was what they regarded as his clear-sighted approach to Kashrut and Pesah issues?
