canadian baby food
Question
Until last year Heinz baby food had a hechsher, however, since than it has been removed. The ingredients pose no problem, as they are, for example, pears and water or oranges and water. In any event the reason the hashgacha removed the hechsher is b/c apparently there were turkey bits in the same run as the baby food which would pose a problem. My concern is that if it in fact would pose a problem, how could I read the ingredients on the back of an item and trust it. I would for sure have trusted the back of the baby food's ingredients to be kosher if not for this little wrinke. Thanx
Answer
Answered by Aaron AbadiThere are no turkey bits in your fruit and vegetables. The Hashgachah tried to get more money and they told them to fly a kite. If you believe their story, I have this beautiful antique bridge that I'm looking to sell. I can email you the details.... AA
