Candles
Question
According to your father's logic, why is it permissible to make a berakhah on the candles (or the electricity) if you start Shabbat early when it is completely light out side and you plan to go to sleep before it gets dark?

Answered by Aaron Abadiand you're alone, and you'll never wake up in middle of the night to go to the bathroom.... This is a far-fetched case. Besides, what does my father's logic have to do with it? Is there a different reason for Shabbat candles that we are not aware of? AA
