You are correct, except that you make the Beracha and then you should light the electric (Ashkenazim will light first & then make the beracha) AA My question is: In your father's sefer (Ohr Yitzhak), he answered a similar question and said that although electric lights are the main "nerot" (lights) for which we recite lahadlik ner shel shabbat, one should still also light 2 candles to remind us of zachor ve'shamor. Why is this omitted from your response above?
