canned mushrooms & hot cocoa

Question

I have two questions for the rabbi. 1) Can I buy a cup of hot cocoafrom a vending machine, like at a rest stop. Do I have to worry about non kosher ingredients? 2)Can i buy canned mushrooms w/o a hechsher, is there a problem with bishul akum, ornon kosher machinery? also for chestnuts and bamboo sprouts? the stuff usually comes from india or china. Thank you

1) No 2) Some mushrooms have bugs, but I don't know which ones. Bishul Akum (cooking by a non-Jew) is not a problem here. Anything packaged and sold in a supermarket is not a problem for Bishul Akum. AA
