Question

Hi, 1)If someone is baking a small amount of bread should one make an effort to bake a lot of bread just to be able to fulfill the mitzva of hafrashat challah (It seems to me a waste to make a lot of bread just for that purpose since you are going to waste the piece you break off by burning it) 2)Shulchan Aruch (qouting rambam)says in hutz la'aretz we should seperate 2 pieces of hallah, burn the first small piece then take a second piece and give to a young kid kohen (or one who went to the mikve). Rama says to just do one piece and burn it. Which do we follow? Is there anyone that follows Rambam and Shulchan aruch on this? Henry
