Question

Rabbi, Are there any specific types of cheese that do not need a hechsher, or do all require one? Just wondering, what is the main reason that cheese without a hechsher might be unkosher? If the reason has to do with certain trace amounts of unkosher items, how come it wouldn't be kosher since it would most likely be less than 1/60 ?? Thanks for all your work, DM

Cheese has a special Gezera (Rabbinical Decree) that requires it to be supervised. AA
