clarification on flavor

Question

Dear Rav, Please clarify that a kosher product that has a non-kosher ingredient that is less than 1/60th in volume, is still kosher regardless of how strong the flavor the non-kosher bit imbues?( Obviously after the fact) Is that the same with colour and texture? Many thanks, Martin

If you can clearly taste the flavor of the non-kosher ingredient, it is not allowed even if it is less than 1/60th. I can't think of anything that this would apply to. Maybe non-kosher feta cheese in a lasagna. Try it (with the kosher). Only flavor counts for this. AA
