Cow's Milk Cheese

Question

If a cheese is labeled as being cow's milk cheese does that not make it chalav israel? Or are FDA (or is it USDA) regulations concerning the labelling of milk in cheese not stringent enough to rely on them? Thanks! Jim

Cheese has a different issur besides Chalav Yisrael. It can be made with Chalav Yisrael and still be assur to eat. Please check previous posts about Gevinas Yisrael or cheese. CYA
