1) What's the difference between that & a hotel stay....? When you answer that, we'll address the rest. Going on a Kosher cruise is not one of my father's favorites, so I hope he'll get into responding. AA ---It seems to me that even if there would be a Jewish convention at the hotel [which i guess would be th eultimate paralell] the hotel would be open for business anyway -the melacha of the non jewish staff would occurr any which way -its not DIRECTLY caused for jews unlike th ecruise, where the ship is nmot leaving port without the yiddin...so the cmelacha for the cruise is more direclty linked to the Jews' presence on board.
