Question
What is the halakhic justification for those who don't serve in the Israeli army but instead sit and learn. Why should only the other Israelis have to go to battle? Don't we all have a responsibility for kelal yisrael?

Answered by Aaron AbadiDid you mistakenly include into the title "Klal Yisrael" millions of "Mumrim." Hey! Get real! We look the other way when we see these Kofrim & Mumrim & even many Ovdey Avoda Zarah. Are you really calling this army, the army of Kelal Yisrael? The ones that sit & learn properly, may God bless them. The ones that roam the streets, should go to a religious sector of the army in order to go to work afterwards. AA
