Davening for an 8 yr. old

Question

What should an 8 yr. old boy be saying as his daily tefilah? What about Shabbat & Yom Tov? Thank you.

Berachot, Baruch Sheamar, Ashrey, Yishtabach, Shema, and Shemonah Esrey/Amida. If that is too much, then Shema is the absolute minimum, then add Shemonah Esrey/Amida, and then the rest. The next thing should be the Birchot Kriat Shema. Go slowly. We don't need another guy mumbling foreign words 90 miles an hour without an ounce of meaning. AA
