Plate

Question

Why is a plate different than a spoon? You said that if you put a dairy spoon in a meat pot you don'thave to kasher the spoon since rov tashimisho is as a keli sheni. So how come if you cook dairy on a meat plate (within 24 hours) there is a problem, since the plate is rov tashmisho as a keli sheni?

The plate doesn't need Kashering, but the food cooked on it is not kosher, if the plate is not glazed, and therefore it can absorb. AA
