Question

What is your opinion on that which R' Blumenkranz does not allow diet coke and the like because of a problem of kitneyios derivatives? Also, what is your opinion on the whole "Blumenkranz Book" prohibiting shampoo and the like that are chamutz? Are they "raui leachilas kelev"?

Kitniyot is Batel Berov. (made irrelevant if less than 50% of a product) We are so strict with a custom, yet we have no qualms about making Eiruvin and risking people carrying on Shabbat. Inedible items are not Chametz. AA
