Dog Food

Question

You are joking when you say that dog food has to have kosher meat, aren't you? (I know you can't serve a dog basar ve-chalav) We are permitted to get hanaah from non-kosher meat, aren't we?

not really. if you slaughter an animal & find it to be Treif, it is Ok to give to your dog, but not to buy Treif. AA
