duty free

Question

on motzei pesach, a few hours after yom tov, i bought a bottle of jack daniels at the duty free shop in ben gurion airport without considering the chometz issue. afterwards, i found out that the shop does sell its chometz through a rav but that it continues to sell chometz from the store on pesach. rav moshe's teshuva mentions that the mechira to the goy is valid and the status of what is sold on pesach is that of gezel from the goy. i have been told by others that they feel the teshuva does not apply to this particular case. what do you think?
