Eiruv and Shabbot

Question

Hello, Bearing in mind that the Rav's opinion about a city eiruv is not to carry - one question. In Baltimore where a majority of the community will carry on shabbot - if another person offers ahead of time to do all the carrying for you (i.e. push a baby carriage to and fro)am I allowed to accept?
