Do you know how they ever got to prohibit electricity on shabes in the first place? some raaabonim had to decided it was llike fire? is it true that some sephardic chachamim and the oruch hashulchan allow turning electric on and off on yomtov?

Answered by Aaron AbadiIt is a very hard question to answer. If a qualified Rabbi permits electricity on Holidays, I would certainly not be one to question him. AA
