Question

Is turning on a light on shabat considered lo teva'aru esh? What is the isur of electricity on shabat? It is so difficult to sit a whole day without being able to do simple things like putting a light on if you forgot to do it before shabbat! Wouldnt it make shabbat more enjoyable if you can do things like that?

Set the lights to a Shabbat clock (timer), & then you can set it at any time to go on or off ten minutes later. AA
