Hacham, Is it permissible to watch TV on shabbat? If this is one way for me to relax and relieve the stresses from the week?

Answered by Aaron AbadiTV is not for during the week, but certainly not for Shabbat. There are many things that most people watch and are immune to, that is not Kosher for an Observant Jew to watch. On the other hand, if someone is sick in the hospital, and the TV will distract him, it would not be a problem. Of course, he must be careful to watch only Kosher things. AA
