Eruv & Kashrut

Question

I am a relatively outspoken supporter of your extremely valuable revelations regarding Kashrut issues. In fact, I am so well known, that in the town where I am selling my house, the buyer's Rabbi ruled that they would have to Kasher my house because I hold by your Kashrut ! Now I'm moving to a community where there are both Ashkenazim and Sephardim, and in this community are 2 Dayans who put up and maintain an Eruv that they and their followers hold by. It is a smaller town with a main shopping street that is 2 lanes each way, and this slices the neighborhood in half, although it's included within the Eruv. Some hold by it, and some don't. Here is my long winded question: I have been taught that it is forbidden to describe an entire community that considers itself an observant community as "nonreligious." Yet, there is nothing more obviously "nonreligious" than desecrating the Shabbat, knowingly, by carrying. This puts those who don't hold by the Eruv in the position of declaring that all of those who do, are Sabbath violators, at a Torah level since it's known that a vast amount of observant people in the neighborhood do not consider it kosher ! I was sure upset when the buyers of my house told me I wasn't considered Kosher because I held by Rabbi Abadi. But, the Eruv question is so much more serious. How does a community function if half the community thinks the other half are Shabbat desecrators, and vice versa on keeping Kosher? I can understand the concept that regarding Ashkenazic/Sephardic kashrut differences, what is kosher for one could forbidden for another.....but how does this concept relate when dealing with carrying on Shabbat? From what I understand, one who doesn't keep kosher is still treated as a Jew according to the Shulchan Aruch, but an avowed Shabbat violator is on a whole different level.
