Everything is kosher??

Question

I've noticed that 10 out of 10 times you'll rule something is kosher, based on the ingrediants on the label. (1) Aren't you at all worried about the ta'am that may be left behind on the machinary or in the ovens or elshwhere in the cooking process? (2) Aren't you worried about unlisted ingrediants? Who says everything in the food is on the label? (3) Do you know for a fact that every last one of those perservatives is kosher? Please answer these three questions, and perhaps you can also explain why hechsharim are even needed if we can just go by what is printed on the label?!?

1) no, because the Shulchan Aruch isn't worried, so why should I. 2) FDA. Call them, or see our FAQ's... 3) Preservatives are "poison," they come with a full "skull & bones" warning on the box. Couldn't we at least characterize that as inedible?! Besides, it is always less than Shishim (1/60th). ...and that is the Real Deal! AA
