Question

Would one be required to take tithes from something grown but not eaten, rather it is smoked? Like Tobacco or any other smoked product?

Tithes (Maaser) only on food items. In the Torah (Devarim/Deuteronomy 14:22) where it discusses this commandment, it uses the word "Tevuah," which is specifically a food item, and it teaches us that it only pertains to food. AA
