Follow up Bedikat Chametz

Question

I did check the Halacha section. I wanted to know if what I do is correct. I am not going to wait till the night before to clean out my entire kitchen of chametz. I save one cabinet for the Bracha and the rest I do the day or two before. Is this wrong? Or am I supposed to make a "search" around the whole house even if I don't find anything. I was a little confused. Sorry.

You are doing it correctly, except that you should search those rooms and areas that you normally keep Chametz even though they've been cleaned. Not the bedrooms, not the bathrooms, but maybe the dining room & kitchen etc. Most years I find stuff even after the days of cleaning. It doesn't need to take hours, but at least a quick browse thru all the usual places. AA
