Dorm Room on Pesach

Question

I live in a dorm room with a non-Jewish roomate. What are the halachot with cleaning my room for pesach and getting rid of chametz in the room? Can i live in the dorm for the week if my roomate has chametz in it?

I assume that you have your areas & he has his. Clean your areas & try to make a reasonable separation in order to avoid eating his Chametz. AA
