frozen vegetables

Question

I heard from my friend Gilda Angel that bags of frozen vegetables, ie spinach, brocolli are not kosher unless they have a certification. Years past, I know we bought these items from the supermarket frozen dept. without hashgaha. What is true this year.? NN

You need to get Bodek Brand or Dole lettuce (but with Dole don't use the clumped pieces). Otherwise they might contain bugs, yes bugs! AA
