gelatin in yogurt

Question

Is Keyfood yogurt kosher all year? It lists kosher gelatin and the container has a K, but I was unable to find out who gave the K. In general, I understand that gelatin made from powder is kosher, but that the liquid variety is not. Is that correct and if so, what products are safe/unsafe, or must we always ask? Is beeswax a problem?
