general question

Question

I first want to give my compliments to Mr. and Rav Abbodi for forming such a informative website. I want to clear something up that I am not sure about. I understand Rav Abbodi holds that Wrigleys and Warner Lamber products are all kosher. My first question is, did he go and check out their plants? Assuming that the Rav did check out the plants, a question suddenly dawned on me: Doesn't a jew have to turn on the ovens to make the gum etc., as is needed in our households to cook out dinners? I may be off the wall, and be comparing apples to oranges, however, I just want to clarify that point.
