Question

I understand that the gezeira of cheese is not based on the question of the rennet. However, what if you are eating in someone's home who is other wise fully kosher but you seen unhechshered cheese? If it is only a gezeria issue the presumably it would not impact kelim; if there is also a maachalot asurot aspect (rennet) what would be the issue? Also, what if a person is becoming frum and the same situation occurs - must they discard dishes, cooking pots..etc?

The food cooked on pots that had non-kosher cheese at some time prior, is not a problem, but people who heated these cheeses should certainly Kasher those pots. If they pots were used a few times since, they kashered themselves. AA
