Gilda Butter Crackers

Question

Gilda Butter Crackers contain "Natural Butter Flavour" as one of the listed ingredients. I called the company and they told me over the phone that the source of the Natural Butter Flavour is real butter. The crackers are certified OU with no "D". I am asking because I was at an affair last night (meat) and saw these crackers open. Are they dairy? Thank you!

They are dairy. The reason butter was on the box was as per FDA regulations. CYA
