R. Abadi, I love your site and your methodology. However occasionally I read something which I find to be greatly disturbing. In your response to gilgul unless I'm misunderstanding what you wrote it seems to me what you're saying is that anyone who does not believe in the kabbalah and the zohar is outside of the mesorah and R.Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ourbach backs this by telling you that your father should treat someone with that belief "like" an Apikoret. How can that be? Did the Rambam believe in Kabbalah? Did the mesorah change since then? As for the zohar it certainly came onto the scene in a strange way (hundreds of years after it was written). As you said not everyone at the time accepted it's authenticity maybe for that reason. Over time it has become generally accepted. So now it's part of the mesorah? It's a book. If someone denied that the Maiyri was not authentic would he also be labeled an apikoret. I think you made your point that gilgul has a torah source and if someone wants to believe it, they have who to rely on. But to call someone that doesn't an apikoret seems to me to be logically flawed.
