Grape juice

Question

OK, so grape juice is not wine, and it does not need an OU, OK, etc. Since it's not wine, then am I correct in assuming that it should not be used for kidush? If that is the case, then can I at least dilute the wine with some grape juice? What is the most that it can be diluted?

It is wine. It's just cooked first, and cooked wine cannot become unkosher. AA
