i am totaly confused can i take a kosher piece of fish or meat and put it on a grill in a non kosher store without doing anything

Answered by Chaim Yisrael AbadiNO! That is L'chatchila and it is assur. This heter of Stam Keilim Einan B'nei Yoman is only B'dieved, if it happened, not that you can use a treif pot, pan or any cooking utensil L'chatchila. In order to do what you are describing, you must first clean or burn off any food on the grill. Then you must make Libun, which would be either torching the grill or using it with no food at the highest degree possible for a half hour. I don't know where this misunderstanding came from. Please direct me so that we can clarify, if it is on this site. CYA
