Halav Goyim
Question
It is kosher and dairy. It is Cholov Stam for those that are machmir. Maybe, that is the source of the confusion. CYA Why is the rav so explicit in saying that halav goyim is kosher while also saying that gevina must be gevinat yisrael. In reality, there is no difference. Both of these laws, halav yisrael and gevinat yisrael, come from gezerot and must be observed even if their reasoning is no longer applicable. You need another Sanhedrin to make halav goyim mutar. Furthermore, nowhere in the talmud does the word "Cholov Stam" appear, it is a new invention. This question is for CYA not for AA.
Answer
Answered by Chaim Yisrael AbadiFirst of all, Chalav yisroel and Gevinat yisroel are different, because they have diffferent halachot. Second of all, Rav Moshe Feinstein already said that Chalav Goyim in USA is not the Chalav Goyim of the Gemarah. I hope this clarifies what you were trying to ask. CYA
