Hot Water on Shabbos

Question

If I have an ELECTRIC water heater that provides hot water to my house, can I turn OFF the electric power source before shabbos and use the hot water at the kitchen tap on shabbos? Or is ther a problem if the cold water feed is still connected to the boiler even though the power is OFF?

It is still a problem if the water is Yad Soledet Bo (about 125 degrees F) Check your boiler's temperature and lower it to under 125 and you don't need to turn off the water heater. AA
