ICE CREAM

Question

Is ice cream kosher? Not the stuff that comes in boxes with an OU like Ben and Jerry, but the stuff they sell in resteraunts like HoJo and Dutch Pantry, etc. Is it okay to go an eat ice cream in any restearunt? Does it matter what kind of plates and utensils you use? THANKS!!!

It's OK as long as there is no cheese or additives. Vanilla & chocolate are OK. AA
