Joyva & Cap'n Crunch
Question
The Joyva question was not about specific ingredients. I would like to know if Joyva has a reliable hashgacha for kashrut in general and if so, if they are reliable for passover as well. Also, on the topic of Cap'n Crunch...even if oats are permitted on Pesach, is the processing facility for this cereal an issue? Does the plant and/or production line need to be inspected and cleaned for Pesach? And, if the line is producing chametz items in addition to the Cap'n Crunch (do you know what they produce on this line?), can it be cleaned at all to produce non-chametz items? I was under the impression that we do not use any chametzdik keilim without hagala. It seems that ingredients are the main focus of much of your responses, but what about the facilities and the other products produced at these facilities? Thank you.
Answer
Answered by Aaron Abadi1) We don't need any Hasgachah, if the ingredients contain only acceptable items. 2) We answered this many times. It is not a problem. AA
