Kashering

Question

In previous posts we discussed using pots and pans & utensils in restaurants or Hotels that do not keep Kosher. It may have been unclear or left out. So please note! It is ideal to kasher the pot if it so requires. It takes two minutes to boil water with it covered until it is steamed up & then rinse under cold water. If you did not Kasher it, or if someone cooked in it already, the food is 100% kosher, anyway. Look at our "laws of Kashering" for more Kashering Laws. AA

..... If anyone notices a post where this is not clear, please tell me. There are items that do not need Kashering & others that do. If you look at the Laws section & can tell the difference, then good luck. Otherwise, it's easy to Kasher. AA
