Kashrut

Question

I have got to my hands a package of MELROSE'S tea and I don't know if it's kosher or not and it has no kosher sign or OU. Does tea need a kashrut sign at all? If yes is this kind of tea kosher? Thank you very much and yisher koach!!

Normal tea does not need a Hechsher. In some countries they serve the strangest teas. I can't guarantee that all teas in the world are Kosher, but normal teas are all fine. The only time you'll have a problem is on Pesach, because some teas contain barley malt. AA
