Rabbi You hold that you can tell if a food product is kosher by looking at the ingredients , but ingredients that are used in the processing of the food but are not in the food itself are not listed in the ingredients, is that not a problem?

Answered by Aaron AbadiIf they are not in the food, the food is Kosher. If they somehow get into the food as part of normal processing, they must be listed. See our FAQ's section. AA
