Ketubah

Question

1. What are you supposed to do if you lose your Ketubah? 2. Since married couples have joint bank accounts today, and the wife can withdraw what she wants whenever she wants, do we technically really need a Ketubah (i. e., is it so important that if you lose the Ketubah you have a new one written immediately)?

1) There is a special Ketuba that needs to be written, that is written spefically as a replacement Ketuba. 2) You may be right, but it says in some Sefarim some things about Ketuba, that you might not want to play with. AA
