Dear Rabbi, please tell me the things that someone should be doing in order to wear Rabenu Tam tefillin? Thank you for your valuable time and great effforts.

He must learn the Mesilat Yesharim thoroughly & understand it fully. In there, it lists the requirements to do Chumrot (extra credits) & only a full understanding of his Sefer (book) can direct you on this issue. Additionally, look at the Rambam in "Shemonah Perakim." AA
