Kitniyot

Question

I am Ashkenazi. Can I follow a recipe and prepare a dish on Pesah that contains kitniyot, if the kitniyot are less that half the final amount? From what you wrote re. having an Ashkenazi guest over and cooking more for him, it seems that this would be OK
